There are some jobs that are quite demanding and stressful. The factors that make a job stressful and hectic include working conditions, long working hours, risk of life and degree of competition in a job. I have done some analysis and research and came to the results that following jobs are most hectic and nerve-racking.
Surgeons
Job of surgeons is most stressful and hectic in my opinion. The reason is quite clear. Their working hours are too long; they are responsible for operating the patients accurately. In other words we can say that our lives are in the hands of surgeons. A small mistake on their part can bring serious and dangerous results. So their job is full of stress and anxiety. Keeping in mind the delicacy and seriousness of this job it can be ranked first in the list of top ten stressful jobs.
Commercial Pilots
The job of commercial pilots is very stressful because they are liable for a safe journey and lives of hundreds of people. They are responsible to do their job perfectly even in harsh weather conditions. Becoming a pilot is not as simple as a common man thinks. They have to go through tough exams, stressful practices, flight tests and much more. All these factors make this job a hectic one.
Fire Fighters
There is no need to explain that why the job of firefighters is stressful. They always have to work in dangerous and risky conditions. They are responsible to save the lives of people by walking through flames of fire. Sometimes due to smoke inhalation, they have to suffer a lot.
Police Officers
Police officers always work in risky situations. They need both physical and mental strength to face these situations. So there job becomes very stressful.
Air Traffic Controller
Air traffic controllers have to remain alert all the time because they are responsible to regulate the arrival and departure of flights. Their job becomes even more stressful if they are working on busy airports. They can not make even a small mistake as it may become a cause of a large and irreparable disaster.

“The Blood of Flowers” was the debut novel by Anita Amirrezvani. She was stimulated to write this novel by a Persian carpet that was given to her by her father when she was a teen.
She anticipated the life of a carpet maker and wrote a story about a young woman of 17th century in Iran. That woman had passion of making rugs as she grew up but when her father dies suddenly, she and her mother moved to Iran and became dependent on the compassion of some wealthy relative and hoped that the young woman will find a wealthy husband. But there in Iran, the girl and her mother forced to become servants of that wealthy relative named Gostaham who worked in Shah’s carpet workshop. The girl became an expert carpet maker by learning it from a neighborhood girl. Then her uncle’s wife manipulates her into a secret marriage that spoils all her dreams.
The primary theme of this book is the carpets and the title refers to the colors that come from flowers but its story is also powerful and good as well apart from the title. “The Blood of Flowers” is a lyrically written book. It is a historical novel that takes the reader into the world of ancient Iran. It is a fantastic book and always included in the list of top ten books about women.
I have also read this book. It is worth-reading but it also has some negative points. For example, the sexual passage in this book makes it unsuitable for young readers. Otherwise it is completely an entertaining book. The thing which I found most touching in this novel was the contract marriage of the main character-the young woman. This part of the story was somewhat degrading for that woman but did not feel to be cheap or gaudy at all. While reading this novel, it doesn’t feel that it is the debut book of the writer as the writing skills are just awesome.
After reading this novel, I have become such a huge fan of this book that I have read it a number of times and also recommend you to read this book as it is quite appealing for women.
